I had to do a product review of Taliah Waajid Enhancing Herbal Conditioner. I’d never heard of it prior to going to a natural hair Meetup a few months ago where we did a product swap. This conditioner is the only thing I left with. The lady who brought it for the swap said that she’d heard a lot of good things about it though it didn’t do much for her hair. I figured, its conditioner, why not I’ll try it. It sat on the shelf of my linen closet for months; I never gave it much thought at all.
This morning I was in need of doing a quick co-wash and was out of my tried and true conditioner so I turned to the Taliah Waajid Enhancing Herbal Conditioner. I had no expectations prior to using, I was just hoping that I could get some of the tangles out of my hair in order to do a wash and go :). As I began applying I noticed how thick, creamy, with a lot of slip the conditioner is along with the nice light fragrance, some of my favorite things in a conditioner :). I used a good amount of the conditioner, as I proceeded and I began to notice how soft my hair felt. I was so pleasantly surprised when working the conditioner through from my scalp to the ends my hair was detangling. I let the conditioner set on my hair for about 3-5 mins before rinsing and I was able to comb right through my hair. After rinsing the conditioner out, my hair was soft and very manageable. You can use this conditioner as a regular conditioner or as a deep conditioner. This is one that I would buy and definitely add to my list of detangling conditioners.
What are some of your favorite detangling conditioners for natural hair?
