One of my dearest friends, who is a Black Art connoisseur, visited me in FL bringing with her this as a present for me. She said when she saw it she immediately thought of me, especially with it being art about natural hair.
I’m really touched by this piece. I can relate to each of the words, having felt or lived each one at some point in life. Each time I look at it I’m inspired in a different way whether it is a chuckle, reflection or a feeling I’m in the midst of.
That’s the magic of what art can do for you which I appreciate so much!
