I’ve missed my blog….

I’m finally getting a moment to catch up with my blog and give a fill in to everything that has kept me away from blogging. I’ve been m.i.a. for the last few months because I relocated from Ohio to S. Florida. I made a 1,300 mile move across country to start a new position with my company. A move that was a bit unexpected and happened really quickly.

With adjusting to the move, trying to put my place together, the new job and getting familiar with my surrounds my blog (and my café in Café World icon smile I’ve missed my blog…. ) fell by the wayside. I have really missed blogging! Though, I have been trying to keep up with the natural hair community by peaking in on my favorite bloggers, vloggers, forums, trends, etc. And brainstorming ideas, articles and blog posts to share.

Things are starting to settle a bit for me so I anticipate being back into the swing of things here right after the holidays.

In the mean time, as far as my hair is concerned, I have been keeping it really simple. I’ve mainly been wearing it either in a bun or a wash & go. My hair dries in a half day now icon wink I’ve missed my blog…. definitely a perk of living in the sunshine state.

My holy grail or tried and true products I’ve been using during this time are; Say Yes to Carrots Conditioner for detangling, Garnier Frutics leave in conditioner, Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, ECO Styler gel and Jojoba Oil.

During this time I have not had a chance to do any deep treatments. So my hair is in need of good deep moisturizing and protein treatments, each are long overdue (as well as a pedicure :)). Any suggestions for a good deep moisturizing or protein treatment to use?

My current thoughts on my move, so far so good, right about now can’t beat the weather.

So what have some of you been up to? Any new, different or exciting life events that have happened that you’d like to share?

  1. What have you been using before for deep protein treatments?

A lot of women have had success with ApHogee protein treatment. Maybe you can try that? :)

Good luck and congrats on the move!

    • Hi Crystal, thank you for stopping by and your response. ApHogee is what I’ve used for protein treatments. It works pretty well for me. Though, I’m interested in trying other protein treatments curious to what else is out there. Thank you so much for your congrats!
